Reports Suggest Mitsubishi Plans to Resize SUV Lineup
Crossovers and SUVs are quickly becoming some of the most popular and in-demand vehicles on the road today. As such, SUVs are a crucial part of any automaker’s lineup. In recent years, Mitsubishi heavily prioritized crossovers and SUVs, turning out favorites like the Outlander, the Outlander PHEV, and the Eclipse Cross. Now Mitsubishi wants to offer even more variety in its SUV lineup. To do so, it has announced plans to resize its entire lineup of crossovers and SUVs.
While SUVs like the Mitsubishi Outlander, Outlander Sport, and Eclipse Cross all offer distinct features that appeal to different lifestyles, they are all relatively similar in size. In order to further differentiate between these SUVs and make it easier for you to discover which is right for you, reports suggest that Mitsubishi plans to redesign the size differences between their SUVs.
Rumors claim that the Outlander is slated to increase in size while the Outlander Sport will become smaller. The Eclipse Cross, on the other, seems like it will stay the same.
Additional rumors suggest even more exciting changes to come to the Mitsubishi SUV lineup. For example, the Eclipse Cross is reportedly poised to see the addition of a Hybrid variant.
