As the days pass by and we get caught up in all of the daily life activities, it’s easy to forget about simple things like taking care of our cars. However, detailing your car every once in awhile makes a huge difference. Here are some tips for how to do it on your own.
Start With Compressed Air
Before you even get the vacuum out, use compressed air to blow dirt and particles out of the hard to reach cracks and corners. Once you get it all into the center of the car, you can then vacuum it up.
You can also turn the compressed air on your vents to get all of the dust out of there to keep your car smelling nice.
Use Non-Acidic Wheel Cleaner
Keep your wheels and rims looking nice by using a non-acidic wheel cleaner. The acid in some washes eats away at the protective layers on your rims, causing them to rust faster.
The best wash is a hand wash. This allows you to get into all of the hard to reach places and get every last bit of dirt off of your car. Avoid using things like dish soap on your car. You may end up destroying the protective layers on your paint if you aren’t careful.
By following these simple tips, you will be able to detail and clean your car like a pro.
