Group of Millennials Hiking

North Carolina just isn’t the kind of place where it’s easy to stay indoors. So if you are looking to get out, check out these outdoor adventures in Charlotte!

U.S. National Whitewater Center

Here’s a list of all of the things you can do at the U.S. National Whitewater Center: whitewater rafting, a canopy tour, flatwater kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, rock climbing, zip lines, ropes courses, and mountain biking. Not sure which one to choose? Just start at the top and work your way down the list!

Lake Norman

There’s a lot to do at this gorgeous lake. There are fantastic angling opportunities as well as boating and skiing. There’s also a highly-rated waterfront restaurant, Eddie’s Seafood and Raw bar.

Cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway

This is great because sometimes you want to be in the outdoors…but without exerting a lot of effort. Cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway with your windows down is the next best thing to breaking a sweat on the trails. There’s just nothing like the relaxation of a drive where you don’t really need to get anywhere.
